Also known as whirlybirds, helicopters and polynoses, this whimsical botanical is filled with wonderful childhood memories of playing outside with my friends. Growing up I was surrounded by trees that had tons of them. We'd watch them mysteriously spin around in a circular motion as they fell to the ground. Then we'd peel them back an stick them on our noses and grab a few more to add to our afternoon supply. They brought us hours of great outdoor fun!
Materials: The Samara pendant is cast in hand-patinated bronze on a brown flat leather cord.
