This beautiful bag was created from a gorgeous authentic Louis Vuitton Musette bag!! I've gotten rid of the flap, but kept the wonderful red inside with the pockets!
The top of this larger crossbody (12"W x 10"H x 3"D) is stitched by hand with brown leather lace. The red interior was thoroughly cleaned, but a few stains remain (see pics). The handle was removed and replaced with a 6-strand brown braided leather strap that is flat where it sits across your body, and round towards the clasp. It is 51" long and has a small amount of fringe that can be trimmed down if desired. All of the hardware on this bag is brass. The brass carabiner gives it an edgy look, and the long crossbody strap can be removed so that you can carry it with the brass shorty chain.
Remember that this bag is vintage, and does show some signs of rubbing (again, please see pics). It still has a TON of life left in it, and I'm sure it will be one of your faves!! All of the work done to this purse was done by yours truly!!! Isn't she a beauty?
